Indie-folk songwriter LLouise's music is like cinematic slow-motion, an inner world the listener can step directly into. Her confessional songs are imprints of the epic thrills and deepest aches of a fiercely sensitive heart. Shaped by fellow female folk artists like Haley Heynderickx, Feist and Madison Cunningham, her voice darts like a bird over the warm and grounding landscape of the music.After playing all over the Netherlands with the Pop College Tour in spring of 2024, the Berlin-born artist went back to basics in the form of her second EP thin skin, which she celebrated with a packed release show in Moira, Utrecht. Recorded live on cassette as an ode to anti-perfectionism and the folk culture of the 70s, thin skin is a deep, sweet and handcrafted follow-up to her 2023 debut White Linen; a turbulent, rough-around-the-edges yet sensitive record.
